Ann Smith is a native of Virginia and mother of 2 sons, Tucker and Tyler. For 36 years she has called Jackson Hole home. Prior to entering real estate she was a teacher and a librarian and received a degree in English from Florida Atlantic University. She began her real estate career in 1981 and was one of the owners of Jackson Hole Realty for many years. As an active member of the community, she founded PAWS of Jackson Hole 18 years ago. She has also served on the Board of the Teton Science School, Teton County Library, Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust, Wyoming Untrapped and Innerconnections 21.
She is proud to also serve on the Board of the Africa People and Wildlife Fund in Tanzania. An enthusiastic wildlife conservationist, she has been involved in the protection of elephants, lions, grizzly bears and wolves.
Teresa Nye was a Financial Consultant with Dean Witter Reynolds & Smith Barney for 24 years…Retired in 2001 to raise two beautiful daughters, on the Snake River, in Swan Valley, Idaho. Founded the Swan Valley Arts Council who’s mission is to provide the Swan Valley School with a full-time Art Teacher and also provide Performing Arts education. Served the Swan Valley School Board for 7 years. Moved to Jackson Hole for educational opportunities for my girls. Was the Volunteer Coordinator at the Jackson Hole Middle School for 3 years and became a WY & ID Realtor in 2010. Also hold a WA real estate license. Debbie LaJeunesse had a goal of becoming a real estate appraiser for many years and when moving to Jackson in 1990, she decided that getting a real estate license might be a good first step. She still maintains her real estate license but spends 100% of her time doing residential appraisal work since August 1990.
In 1999, she opened her own firm, Teton Appraisals which still serves Teton County and most recently Lincoln County, WY. Debbie enjoys being involved with the community and was one of the founding board members Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area, was a BPW Woman of the Year, and a Soroptimist member for many years. She was also appointed by the Governor to the WY Real Estate Appraiser’s Board for 6 years, has served numerous terms on the local MLS board, and was also part of the Teton County Housing Authority Board for 5 years.
She works too much but enjoys gardening with her husband Ed, riding her Harley, knitting or reading, yoga, working out, hiking, and walking or anything with cats, friends and family.
Miles Chapin has called Jackson home since 2006. For many years he traveled seasonally between Jackson, Maui, and Alaska working as a ski instructor in the winter and a scuba diving instructor and Charter boat captain during the summer months. More recently Miles has focused his professional efforts on building Chapin Investments LLC, a construction Finance firm operating out of Atlanta, Georgia. Miles is a managing partner of Sweetwater Property Management LLC, working with Jane Folgeman Real Estate to provide clients with the best in real estate sales, caretaking and property management services. Brendan Burns has called Jackson home since 1998 when he initially fell in love with the splendor of the mountains and the warmth of the community here.
